Font Licenses

All fonts from Fox Rockett Studio are sold with clearly defined license types, so you can choose the right one for your project. Below is a breakdown of what each license allows.

Desktop License – £19

Use the font in unlimited commercial and personal projects. Perfect for design work like packaging, merch, posters, logos, and paid social content.

Can be used for:

  • Static design work (print, digital, social)
  • Website and app mockups (rasterized images only)
  • Games (rasterized use only — no live text)
  • Print-on-demand products (only by the license holder)

Cannot be used for:

  • Embedding the font file in websites, games, or apps
  • Allowing others to edit or reuse the font file

Webfont License – £19

License for self-hosted font embedding on websites you own and control.

Can be used for:

  • Embedding and displaying the font on your website(s)
  • Styling headers, buttons, and text on owned domains

Cannot be used for:

  • Use in desktop apps or graphic design software
  • Games, apps, or digital publications
  • POD or client use outside of your own sites

ePub License – £60

Designed for embedding the font into a single digital publication like an eBook or interactive PDF.

Can be used for:

  • Embedding the font in one PDF or eBook (non-extractable format only)

Cannot be used for:

  • Website or web app usage
  • Games or software
  • Desktop design or print-on-demand platforms

App License – £180

Covers use of the font in one published app or game — including UI, menus, and in-app visuals.

Can be used for:

  • Embedding the font in one mobile app, desktop app, or game
  • In-game text or app UI (must be securely embedded and non-extractable)

Cannot be used for:

  • Websites or web-based apps
  • Any editable or downloadable use
  • Multiple apps or software titles (contact us for custom licensing)
